AMD and Anthropic sign tens-of-billions AI server deal, WSJ reports
Anthropic will purchase up to 2 gigawatts of AMD Instinct MI450 chips for AI servers in a deal worth tens of billions of dollars, according to the Wall Street Journal. Deliveries are slated to begin in the first half of 2027, securing a large non-Nvidia compute supply for Anthropic.
